The only thing more powerful than a great idea is a great idea powerfully executed.
- William Blake

The Wipro Applying Thought In Schools is an initiative which brings together educationists from across India in a common platform. Our partners have vast experience and expertise in this field and are given an independent charge to develop a curriculum within a broad range of guidelines. They have the same objective in mind “Developing independent thinkers and life long learners.” Our partners have a highly skilled team and deep understanding of the issues involved. Besides, they meet at various platforms to discuss issues and share ideas.

The role of the Wipro vis a vis the partners is five fold:

1.

Vision: Wipro and the partner share and agree upon a common vision. Wipro has conceptualized the overall program and structure while each of the partners independently develops the training program. It engages with different stakeholders in the field of education and brings them to a common platform through the initiative

2.

Development: Wipro conducts training program for the trainers through its Human Resource Development team. These training program impart specific skills like Facilitation skills, etc to the trainers

3.

Financial support: Wipro makes the program affordable for the schools. It bears the entire cost of developing the content and 2/3 rd of the cost of teacher training.

4.

Coordination: Wipro coordinates with each of the partners to guide and monitor the successful implementation of the program. It organizes forums for the partners to meet and share best practices with each other.

5.

Knowledge Management: Wipro collates the best practices of each of its partners, the experience in each of the schools and insights from all the workshops. This enables each of the partners to benefit from the collective experience of all the partners.
