The Society is an important stakeholder for any corporation because the corporation draws its resources from it and sells its services to it. Wipro is committed to this critical stakeholder and is always looking at ways through which it can make a positive lasting difference to it. Some of the initiatives it has are mentioned below.

Wipro Cares
Wipro Cares is medium which facilitates channelising the contribution of Wiproites and their family members towards Social and Developmental issues. It focuses on all such contributions towards making a positive and lasting difference. Some of the specific areas where it is currently working are Healthcare, making a difference in all areas where Wipro offices are located, donating computer hardware to needy organizations. Wiproites can contribute either by spending time or through financial contributions. Wipro matches the financial contribution made by employees.More

Wipro Applying Thought In Schools
Wipro Applying Thought In Schools is our initiative to improve the Quality of education – so that life opportunities and possibilities are expanded for everyone, including the most under privileged. This initiative is long-term, deliberate and focused. We work with with principals, teachers, parents, leading educationists and the education boards to reform the nature of our schools and hence improve the Quality of Learning.

Eco-eye
Eco-eye is part of a self-transformation within Wipro, to create an ecologically sustainable organization and business. As Wipro moves forward on this path, it would continuously try to influence all its stakeholders and communities, to move towards ecological sustainability.
